things to do before you start the semester

hey r/umass. just a few things iʻd recommend doing prior to the semester starting.
- install/update eduroam
- figure out what buildings your classes are in (example: dickinson hall versus dickinson house)
- check your umass email account
- download the student version of microsoft office 365 education (itʻs free via umass) and check out other free/discounted software umass offers
- have somewhere to backup your work during the semester (external hard drive, cloud account, etc)
- remember your professors/TAs/lecturers/etc are people too :)
