I am currently a student at a CC but applied to transfer in the spring for kinesiology, and got in yay! the only problem was when I applied to transfer for the spring I was hoping I could defer my acceptance to the fall which unfortunately I learned you can't. Long story short I am unsure whether I should transfer now or stay at cc for one more semester to save some more money, my parents are heavily pushing for me to go now and not risk getting rejected in the fall so I am in a predicament where both options seem enticing, on the one hand, I already know someone transferring in the spring and we could room together, could finally go to a school where I can actually make some friends / have some experiences rather than stay home and take remote classes. Could anyone please tell me on average the cost of tuition living in a dorm at UMass per semester? from what I found on Google I think it was 17k per semester for tuition 8k for room 3.5k meal plan? If anyone also knows what my odds would be if I were to wait and apply for the fall if it would be harder/the same to get in please tell me and help me with this decision (I literally have until tomorrow to submit the 500$ enrollment deposit)
