I’m ready to upgrade and could use some advice

Post Body

I am ready to buy a new monitor, upgrading from an old ASUS 22” display. This is 90% for work (text, spreadsheets etc) and 10% for photo and video editing. The last video game I played was Pong!

I’m logged into my office remotely full time and love the idea of a curved 34” display with my office in one window and home in the other.

Clarity of text is critical and the 1080 displays I’ve seen don’t deliver. Also it seems that the IPS displays are simply better all around.

I primarily run off an HP Sceptre 360 laptop which does the job but now that I’m full time remote may move to a desktop.

I like LG products but and not wedded to them. My budget is around $500 but will go a bit more for a great Black Friday deal. I like the 34wl75C-B at $550 but am tempted by the 34WP85c-b at $699 (lg prices) but pushing me beyond my budget.

Any advice, recommendations and other brands to consider is greatly appreciated!
