I know it's a freesync monitor, but I've got Nvidia and it seems to be G Sync compatible. That said, I seem to get flickering when G Sync is on. Like the backlight is strobing.
That said, any tips to get best performance out of this display for gaming? I've disabled vsync in my games and forced vsync in the Nvidia panel, and I've enabled G Sync, but set the global profile to a fixed refresh, only to be overridden on a per-game basis due to the flickering.
No major screen tearing, but I'm just wondering if there's any specific "ideal" settings I can set and forget.
Also, is there any difference with connecting this thing up with Displayport vs. HDMI 100Hz? I'm on Displayport right now, but depending on how things go I may have to give up that port for my work laptop (currently have a USB-C to HDMI on order, hoping it works, but if not I'll have to go DP with it).
