I just got my first Oled monitor AW3423DWF. It also has HDR capability. I love it but two issues are really annoying me:
When playing games with RTSS overlay display and HDR turned on, text that appeared orange was appearing bright red. https://imgur.com/a/SXs5t8n Please look at the comparison. I initially thought this was an OLED issue but since then I actually turned HDR mode off and overlay text was back to orange. Any idea why this is only happening with one colour. I have a factory calibration report I could attach if it would help. Not sure if this matters but in sRGB and DCI-p3 mode charts on the report, Red3 has the highest bar almost double the other colours.
This is minor annoyance and may be this is my eyes seeing these colours first time with a real pop. But in media players like PotPlayer playing any SDR content (with HDR turned off obviously) just has too much saturation. My reference is my other non oled monitor AW3420DW. HDR content however looks awesome and not overly saturated.
