So a friend of mine and I are running a 24 hr tag team race in a few weeks. 2.5 mile loop, only one member of the team on the course at a time, rack up as many loops as possible in 24 hrs.
My question is what does everyone think the optimal strategy to attack this would be? Switch after every lap? Switch every hour? Do multiple hrs at the beginning and then slowly start reducing the time between swaps (3-3, then 2-2, then 1-1)??
We had originally planned of switching every 3 hours but just putting in out there for the community's opinion. Thanks everyone!
