Hosting Advisory Update - October Edition
Post Body

From recent discussions with the community and among the advisory, we have decided to make changes to some of the hosting rules.

Match Title Time

We made the decision to allow both whitelist off time and start time as the time in the title, but it must be specified by using a "|" or "-" after the region.

The following format will be required:

  • Mmm DD HH:MM UTC Region [-/|] Host Name's #X - Team Style Team Size - Scenario #1, Scenario #2 [Extra]

A "|" indicates that the start time is in the title.

A "-" indicates that the whitelist off time is in the title.

Examples:

  • Jan 01 00:00 UTC NA - Host's #1 - rTo4 - Moles, Cutclean

  • Jan 01 00:00 UTC NA | Host's #1 - rTo4 - Moles, Cutclean

Everything but scenarios in the title must be hyphens, except after the region of course which can be a pipe if the title time is the start time. The scenarios must be separated by commas.

Posting Rules

  • Matches now must be posted at least 30 minutes before whitelist goes off.

  • True Love is now considered a To2, and Double Dates is now considered a To4. They will conflict with other To2/To4 matches. You may still name them as FFA True Love and To2 Double Dates.

These changes will go into affect in 2 weeks. Any matches that do not follow these changes after then will be removed.

Thanks for reading. We appreciate any feedback you have, so feel free to leave a comment below with your opinions and ideas.
