Spell Research question.

Hi everyone,
I just installed Ultimate Skyrim like 5 days ago. Totally worth it, thanks /u/belmont_boy for putting together all these mods.
I'm playing as a Mage and using Spell Research, and I have this question that I hope someone can answer. Does a thesis "Power" depends on your current level of experience on an Archetype or on the level of experience you had when you made the thesis. I imagine it depends on your current level because otherwise the theses wouldn't stack or am I wrong?
