Short Visitor Visa

I live in the US and I’m applying for a UK Visitor visa. I’m an Indian citizen . I plan to stay in the UK for about 5 days/a week in the UK. I have a rough Idea on my stay dates and it could potentially change by a few days depending on ticket availability/price.

I have a few questions with the application and the visa process- 1. What should I put as my planned arrival and departure dates? Can I inflate my planned stay dates to give myself a buffer?

  1. I have been living in the US for a few years now. What would I put as my #visits and #visit days in the US?

  2. Should I upload my travel itinerary(It’s not a requested document in the portal)? If yes do I need to purchase my flight tickets? The only document I have been asked to upload are my passport, my funds and my US resident proof

  3. I plan to travel by the mid of February. Does that give me sufficient time to apply, provide biometrics and receive my visa?

I would really appreciate your response. Thanks
