I've done hours of research on this topic. Based on my research here are my findings.
The UK seems to be the easiest place to purchase a vehicle if you aren't a resident there and also get insurance. I can get the vehicle registered under a friend/family members address, and a company called DUInsure says they can insure your vehicle if you aren't a resident of the UK. Sepcifically for Canadians, New zealanders, and Australians.
The vehicle will be registered under my name, but the address that it is registered to is not. That would be like if i was living with a relative, and purchased a vehicle, the address i live at isn't mine, but the vehicle is. Is this correct?
Can anyone verify these facts?
