Good morning!
My wife and daughter will be traveling to the UK in a few weeks. They both have a different last name, and I was reading online that she might need a travel letter because of this.
I’ve drafted one that gives permission and acknowledment from me that they will be traveling along with flight numbers, flight details, travel details, and who they will be seeing. I’ve also included information for my daughter and wife as well as passport info for both and permission to get medical treatment while traveling if needed.
Can anyone tell me if this needs to be notarized by both parents? Or just myself? I can’t find an easy answer online and the consulates aren’t picking up.
Thanks in advance!
Awesome, thanks! I don’t think we will need it, but we plan on bringing the letter and birth certificate as well. One of these things where I’d rather have it than not!
Unfortunately they are under 13, so no e-gates for them!
