Do solicitors go to court? (or opposing counsel's offices)
Post Body
I know that in the UK barristers do most of the court work, in terms of representing their clients. I was wondering, however, do solicitors usually show up in court as well? (Even if in a supporting role).
Also, do they go to meet opposing counsel in person now or is that a thing of the past?
