What is the best route after GDL

I am thinking of becoming a paralegal and then applying to TC’s after that but i am not sure if i should just start an LLM or wait for a training contract before starting it. Obviously I need to make some money now but also don’t want to delay getting qualified. What route is better? Also, how difficult would it be to get a good paralegal job at a good firm after a non-law degree gdl? How much more experience would i need?
