Jurors in UK Cases

Post Body

I'm a Brit who is keenly following the Trump cases in the US. There is a motion by Jack Smith for Judge Chutkin to keep the names of the jurors anonymous from the press due to previous attacks on jurors. The press say they still want to know the backgrounds, ethnicities, genders etc. so they can report on it.

It made me think about the UK. I can't recall jurors ever being discussed in the UK press. Are they anonymised in UK trials? I don't see why either the defence nor the prosecution really need to know their names.
