City Update 18th of April 2017
This will contain all information on projects that are currently being undertaken by citizens in the Ruin area as well as any major news regarding the Ruin nation.
[Tribe News] Tribe of the Sea God has infiltrated Ruin - The tribe of the sea-god, worshipping an unknown god located in the bottom of the Ruin lake, has been growing extremely fast in the last few days. Little is known about the aggressive tribe, under than their strange tradition of slaughtering a cow and donating the meat to the bottom of the lake. Keep your wits about you around members of this strange faith, council member anon_one1 warned citizens this week stating '[the tribe is] going Jim Jones on everyone, first its simple slaying of beef, next thing youll all be drinking kool-aid. Be warned.' More news will be shared as the situation develops.
[Project] Shardore Hole - the infamous Ruin hole - 'Is that a vault?' - a commonly asked question of every person who has visited Ruin in the last months. The hole that has been cursing this town forever, was created to hold a tower so tall that in order to fit it into the world, the ground had to be lowered. It is with great excitement that I can announce that the hole has finally reached it's desired depth, allowing the hole to finally become known as 'Shardore Tower', construction is expected to begin within the next week.
[Farming] The First Spruce farm of Ruin - Building with Spruce logs for months, Samuruscratch, a citizen of Ruin has finally taken on the monster responsibility of building the first Spruce farm in Ruin. This farm is expected to be able to provide the massive amounts of the log that is required to keep the city growing. Samuruscratch has already delivered his first shipment of 27 stacks of logs to the city council, which is distributing as needed to citizens.
[Entertainment & Food] McDollaz opening soon/ Starblocks designed and coming soon. - the ground has been broken for the construction of McDollaz, designed by Gobblin and construction being done by tuz. This family restaurant, which is believed to use suspicious ingredients in their burgers, will soon open up it's doors to the city population, selling bread and potatos for affordable prices.
[Entertainment] National Archives opens to citizens & guests - Avalokitesvara, keeper of the Archives has announced the opening of the cities National Archives, you will be able to find many books, including the original copies of the Ruin laws. Citizens are free to read books as they please, needing only to obtain a library card from either Avalokitesvara or Gobblin. For visitors in the city, 3 diamonds is the price to pay for infinite accecss to the seemingly boundless supplies of books offered by the archives.
[Transport] - North Line opening soon - A reminder to citizens who enjoy exploring, in the coming days it is expected that the North Line, allowing access to both Lux and Thule, close friend nations of Ruin.
[Transport] - South Ruin line opening soon - This line will give access to our newly acquired region of South Ruin (formerly known as Wyvernhurst). This city is lead by newly appointed governer Sl33ping_Giant. Speak to her in-game if you're interested in learning more about
WyvernhurstSouth Ruin.[Challenge] Build A Church Challenge 2K17 - The citizen who builds the best church in the region is now up for earning 40 diamonds from Gobblin, these churches are still eligble for government funding so you need only design and build. The reward will not be given out until at least 2 churches (not including anything related to the tribe of the sea god) are built.
[Project] - Ruin Vault - The Ruin vault is looking for emeralds, if you're up for selling emeralds to the government, speak to Gobblin, djmeffy or Dollaz. You are in for a fine payment in exchange. Also looking for Titanium.
