Does anyone have any advise about summer physics -- physics 142 (electricity and magnetism)
Im currently registered but I am thinking about dropping tomorrow - on the last day for a full refund
I am going into my junior year, and physics 142 is required for circuit analysis 225 (ECE department), which in turn leads to electronics i.. then electronics ii..
Even with taking physics 142 this summer I still would need an extra semester in order to meet all my credits for the department (I transferred in from a different department)
What I would gain from taking summer physics now OR electronics ii next summer, is an opportunity to work toward a VLSI (very large semiconductor design) "track" in the ece department, which I could then put on my resume as a kind of certification of study on this subject.
Does anyone have any advice about taking this course during the summer? The professor ( Adrian Barkan) said that the workload is comparable to a 'full time job' his words not mine.
I usually enter the fall semester ready to work hard and refreshed. I'm somewhat concerned about the potential for burnout.
I was in class earlier this week and the material seemed very easy so far but I didnt feel focused on the subject, though I was taking thorough notes.
I have taken calc iii and diff eq.
