How do you feel about this view of the world:
For a woman, it feels like the world revolves around the ones in their (late teen)/20's/30's.
It feels like the world is a big party revolving around them (romance, beauty priviledge). Women have roughly until their mid 30's to experience that party at its fullest.
After that, it is more difficult to be invited then they become older and it is even harder to get there which is why women invest so much in fighting the inevitable (growing old/being kicked out of the party).
When you are ugly, it feels like you are ostracized. You are never invited to the party - unless you have an entertaining personality. You are doomed to watch it from the sidelines and only be acknowledged to educate people on what not to be. Life has a party going on and you were never allowed to attend it because of circumstances out of your control.
You could try to cultivate an entertaining personality but being excluded from the party impact on your mental health and personality (rejection trauma, bitterness, depression, loneliness, isolation...) so you give up.
If you somehow are a late bloomer and experience beauty in your 30's, it does not even feel liberating, it feels stressful as you either live in fear of something happening that could ruin your beauty and have you back in the sidelines or you're trying to make up for lost time when you were in the sidelines but also knowing you have to go fast as you will soon be ejected from the party as you grow older.
If you agree, how can one free themselves from this miserable vision of life?
