Hi everyone. Really enjoyed the fight but had a question to ask. In round 4 Islam scored a great takedown and got the back. However despite the superior position, Volkanovksi made sure he couldn't transition or do too much damage and scored about 20-30 small head shots whilst Makhachev was behind him

Considering these are short shots with little leverage on then they were not that damaging but obviously do land and are somehwat painful. Considering Volk was substantially busier, was the round technically close ? Or is the fact Islam got the the takedown and was in the "controlled" position essentially an instant win ?

For example there was moments that Nganou took down Gane, and Gane wasn't throwing back and Francis had full control over the position. I just wonder how your scoring changes when a guy is throwing.
