UW has a large amount of international students, namely from China/Asia. From any international students, what did you wish you had known about the US education system or other aspects of life in the US before you came? This could be things about academics, campus life, social environments, self development, etc.
Edit: thanks for the comments so far! To add, what have been the most helpful methods to minimize the transition and problems. Are there any orientation programs or classes that are helpful to take?
