r/UCLA is recruiting new mods!
Post Body

With u/BatManatee stepping down earlier this year, u/Espntheocho4 and I have been the only moderators on day to day duty. Seeing our community grow from 16K to 26K subscribers over the past year has highlighted a need for a larger mod team. With that said, I'm happy to announce that we are recruiting for 2-3 new moderators! If you are interested in applying, send the mod team a PM with the following information:

  • Your affiliation to UCLA

  • Graduation year (If you are a student)

  • Previous moderating experience (None necessary to apply)

  • Why do you want to be a mod?

  • In your opinion, what is the role of a mod?

  • What ideas do you have to improve r/UCLA?

  • Optional: Any special skills that could improve the sub (e.g. graphic design, CSS, etc.)?

  • Optional: Anything else you want us to know

We will be accepting applications over the coming weeks and will update this post with a definitive deadline when it arises. We hope to be hearing from many of you soon!

Edit: We will be accepting applications until June 7th.
