Those of us living on the hill are probably aware of the strikes occurring this week. Last year there were a lot of the same threads posted which kind of took over the front page along with some general incivility. This year, we're trying to keep it a bit contained and more civil. We won't remove the posts that are currently up but all future topics on the strike should be made as a top level comment here.

What food options will be available this week?
During the service interruption, only the four residential restaurants will be open for service, De Neve, Covel, B-Plate and Feast at Rieber. Dining is incorporating two changes to regular service within the four restaurants. First, students will have the option to utilize a lunch-on-the-go swipe at breakfast and carry out a pre-packaged sandwich and whole fruit. Secondly, the restaurants will have to-go containers available to allow students to take food out and eat outside of the facility.
In addition, the coupons currently available at front desks which students may get in exchange for one swipe, can be redeemed for special meal combinations at different ASUCLA locations. A full listing of the locations is located here.
