Which week can we drop classes without it affecting financial aid

I'm currently taking 12 units and I already know I'm absolutely cooked in this one class, but if I drop it now, I'll be at 8 units which isn't full time and I'm pretty sure it'll affect my financial aid (unless I'm wrong, if so, please let me know). So I'm wondering whether or not there's a point where I can drop and go under full time, but still get full benefits from my financial aid. Any insight is appreciated!!
