Is there any point of retaking a class I got a D+ on?

I got a D in math 31B which I was planning to retake, but now, I'm not sure about retaking it anymore. I was looking at the prerequisites for the classes that are required for my major (ling and cs), and it seems like a D in 31B is fine? Am I missing something? I know that retaking the class would raise my GPA, but my GPA is pretty good, even after the D . I also will not be pursuing grad school. Any reassurance or insight would be greatly appreciated!
