Hello! Currently a freshman looking for some help. For context - I'm currently an MIMG major looking at possibly doing a double major in EE (I know it's difficult which is why I'm not planning on declaring it until at least the beginning of sophomore year). The only reason I'm even considering it in the first place is that I have the LS7 series, CHEM 20A, CHEM 20L, MATH 31A and all my GE's already complete through CC coursework I did during high school. I'm planning on taking the following next quarter and would appreciate some help on what to first pass:

ENGR 1EC

PHYSICS 1A (I could also take 5A and then petition to have it count for 1A if I do go through with EE)

MATH 32B (with Etcheberry, allegedly a really good professor)

CHEM 14B or 20B (not sure which one I should do, 14 series would be easier but the 20B professor has a far better rating. I can take either since I don't need any more chem for EE)

Fiat Lux (not sure which one yet since the full schedule of classes hasn't released)

Also, I'm currently pre-med with an end goal to eventually work in undergrad education (which likely means pursuing an MD-PhD program) but haven't had much success with extra curriculars so far. Got rejected before the interview for Care Extenders and CPR/FA, and TCAB interviews don't take place until January. Also haven't had much luck with the undergrad research portal since a lot of the opportunities require some sort of experience. Any advice for programs or other things I could look into for basic experience - either in medicine, research, or education (even if it is K-12)?
