So, I'm a prospective student for the paralegal certificate program and I have applied for the fall 2024 semester.
I've applied for the undergrad portion as well. The deadline was August 6th for applications and I submitted mine on July 22nd. As of today, I have not received a decision. I've check my application status since then and there has been no changes. It just says submitted.
And during that period if I had a question regarding the program, I've tried to called the UCLA Extension office multiple times. Each time there was no support agent that was present.
This has been bizarre and apparently classes start on the 24th on this month. I recently emailed and tried to phone them today. It's 11 AM and there is no support agent? I'll be honest in the times I've called it was towards near the end of the day. 4PM. No one picks up? Okay. Kinda my fault. But 11 AM? And there were a few times I've called earlier. 2 to 3PM. No answer.
So with classes nearing, I am now starting to prepare the mindset I did not get admitted.
I'd like to get insight into the situation. And this is the first time I've applied for anything UCLA-related. I'm very confused and anxious right now. The lack of communication is very odd to me.
