International students: How much are you paying for living expenses?
Post Body

Hello! My name is Julian, and I'm planning to study at UCLA next year!

I've read a lot of information on the website and have a general understanding of the application process, tuition, etc. However, I'm still missing a crucial piece of information: living expenses.

International students, how much did you expect to pay for living expenses, and how much are you currently paying?

Also, what strategies can I use to minimize my expenses? For example: - University housing and meal plans vs. looking for housing elsewhere - International UCLA communities offering job opportunities, etc. - Applying early for RA/TA positions - Living in certain neighborhoods

Any advice or information on how much I can expect to pay (monthly, yearly, etc.) or how I can reduce expenses would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks everyone!
