Rule 3: No Admissions Posts
Post Body

There's been an influx of admissions posts lately, and obviously it's that time of the year, but please check the rules: we don't allow generic questions about test scores or essays or whatnot. /r/ApplyingtoCollege is where you'll want to go for that, or /r/GradSchoolAdmissions.

You can, however, make a thread if you think it might be interesting to current UChicago students. My personal rule of thumb is that if it's affecting a student currently in a specific way, feel free to post here. Otherwise, refrain. E.g. questions about what is taught in a certain class you're interested in could interest some current students, whereas asking about class rigor in general isn't that interesting. And obviously, current students don't care about the ACT/SAT anymore.
