CS advisor told me to not take CS1 and Intro to Discrete semester 1??

Hello everyone,
I went to orientation early summer right, the lady for CS said if I take CS1 and intro to discrete in the same semester ill be on grade probation?? I'm reasonably intelligent, and a lot of people say to take CS1 and intro to discrete as soon as possible to be prepared for the foundation exam, so knocking it out the first year would be cool. (Note I already have my AA, and Ive taken multiple programming courses and am comfortable in coding with C and python)
