SO I am a senior graduating this upcoming Spring semester and I am part of Knights of Distinction. Basically, upon completing the program you graduate “with distinction” on your transcript and you create an e-Portfolio of your college experience. I started this program a few years back in hopes it’d help me get into graduate school. However, I have now been a TA for 4 semesters and am starting a Research Assistantship. I also just got promoted to trainer at my job. It will be quite a bit of work to complete everything for Knights of Distinction this semester, and I am just wondering if its worth it to do all that just to have another thing on my Resume. I am trying to get my PsyD in a year so I wanna have a strong application, but I already bave quite a bit on my plate. What do you think? Will it make a difference? Is the work worth it? (The work is 5 500 word paragraphs, logging in evidence of experience outside of classes, and 3-4 workshops for creating my E-Portfolio. Several due dates throughout the semester on top of TA, RA, classes, work, and taking the GRE).
