Why doesn’t Ubisoft take responsibility for their products?
Post Body

So usual spiel, I’ve been a fan for 12 years etc I preordered Avatar, well in advance, the new movie got me interested so I wanted to experience the world.

Received it recently. Two discs, geez haven’t seen this since the 360, put it in to install, swapped disk and left to do something, returned and… stuck at 83%. Installation has stopped. Okay, maybe it’s an internet issue, try again, stuck 83%. Maybe not enough space? stuck at 83%. Hard reset, stuck. Get update, stuck.

Okay, I go to Ubisoft support, they keep getting someone new each response to talk to me, giving me advice like “try reinstalling the game” mfs, I can’t even install the game! “Try turning your internet off and on”…

now they say, oh you didn’t buy it from us so talk to them. It’s YOUR game, you developed it, you sent it for manufacturing, you should’ve done QA, what is some random store going to do with YOUR, Ubisofts, faulty product!

Don’t mean to vent, I’m just sick of these broken games being released.
