Hi all,
So I'm considering becoming an uber driver. I like the idea of choosing my own hours. I was also driving for Yello a few years ago and enjoyed it. It's been my favourite job so far in my life.
I'm just returning to Melbourne after living abroad for two years so I'm currently unemployed. I have a few questions...
Before the virus started...
How much money did you make gross (before expenses)? How many hours per week or month did you work? Which days and what time of day did you work?
What are your expenses roughly? Weekly petrol costs, mobile phone bill, maintenance costs etc.
After the virus started...
Are you getting shifts? Roughly, how many per day? How many hours are you driving?
Is uber accepting new drivers? Do you think there will be an influx of new drivers?
Any help is appreciated.
