Keep The Drama Out Of My Car
Post Body

Since my last few posts, I've been watching out for myself more and I tend to be on the quiet side.

However, this evening, I just finished a ride about an hour ago and while not the worst, it reminds me that I'm glad I'm not a heavy drinker.

Destination set to home, the bars and night clubs are all closing. Got a ping downtown, nothing out of the ordinary. Pick two couples up from the night club and almost immediately, the girl sitting shotgun starts to argue with one of the guys in the back. This goes on for a good ten to twelve minutes with the other couple trying to calm them down.

I'm not sure which of my buttons they pushed, but after putting my music on per their request, weird al of course, and about five minutes away, one of the requested a different song and I had to shout you are all only five minutes away. I'm getting angry because of this bullshit.

The drop off was a street corner, but it was another minute to get to their apartment complex. Here's what really ticked me off; granted I was speeding on the highway at 1:45 A.M. just to get them out of my car. As they are all getting out, the guy arguing says to me, 'if i was a cop and saw you driving like that, I would have pulled you over," to which I replied, 'excuse me?'

Before I could fire any lasting insults, the calm guy thanked me and they all got out. Point of the story: keep your damn drama out of my car. I' have yet to stop and telll someone to get out of my car, but this was the closest I came to doing just that.

Thank you for letting be rant and vent. Be safe out there fellow drivers.
