US West Coast Drivers: Fuel Surcharge?
Post Body
The average price of gas per gallon is above $3.00 per gallon for almost all of the West Coast, and substantially higher in California. How are we supposed to make money doing this with gas prices that high?
It's gotten so bad that I am considering requesting a fuel surcharge fee from my riders. Uber and Lyft are sure as hell never going to raise the rates, so as an "independent contractor", I'm going to have to take matters into my own hands to stay viable, it seems.
