Pick up a couple at a strip club in SE Portland at around 130am, non-surge ride. Nice enough, chatted a bit as we headed towards their destination: a fast food place. "Oh, that's just the first stop, then you'll take us home". Alarm bells are going off, because of the time of Saturday night, but I figure quick food stop then home, I'll get back to the hot area by 2am for surge. BIG FUCKING NO. Pull into the drive through, huge line. I'm thinking, what the fuck. This is NOT the point of stops. 3-5 minutes tops, right? We were in that line for 20 minutes. I'm fuming in the front seat and probably not handling the situation very professionally, and the pax can sense it. It was another 10 minutes after getting their food (which I asked them kindly to wait to eat until they got home, which went over like a lead balloon, and I was getting death stares from the woman the whole rest of the trip) until I got them home. By this time it was 2:20am and I was 20 minutes away from Downtown Portland... not even worth heading back for. Look in the back seat: fries spilled all over, and an empty burger wrapper. Nice, assholes. Got home... yep, 1-starred and flags for everything: safety, navigation, etc. And the worst part: I have zero recourse.
