Guaranteed there will be a class action lawsuit in the next 12 months against Uber because of their Pool service.
We all know Pool sucks 99 out of 100 times (1 time is ride bonus) but if there has to be one thing that is unquestionably worse than the other 99 reasons it's getting a pool ride and the 2nd passenger never being assigned.
Uber needs to pay it's drivers the standard X rate if pax choose Pool but there are no additional Pax added to the route.
This is a class action waiting to happen because we drivers aka independent drivers have published rates that are made available to us that allow us to make the best business decisions possible.
By not paying their drivers their published fares Uber is in breach of contract imo.
I get it fuck pool dont accept them but it's not as easy as that always. A good example of when you must accept a pool would be heavy surge and you already let the first pool expire. If you let the 2nd pool expire you will get your 2 minute timeout which will no doubt result in you getting a low surge on non surge fair after the timeout.
Anyways I just wanted to vent. Im gonna send CS an email and tell them by law based on their published rates if entitled to X $. I suggest everyone who gets a one Pax pool ride to do the same.
Fuck Uber that is flat out blatant stealing and a breach of their published rates
