Long, long rides.
Post Body

Hey, I'm new to the sub but I've been driving for about a year. I had an unusual experience yesterday and I wanted to share and see how unusual it truly was.

I got a request around noon from a pax at a nearby hospital. Before I reach the car, I get a call directing me to the correct part of the hospital (thank you) and telling me that the ride was for someone else (maybe a red flag). I say sure and pick the guy up.

His destination was over 100 miles away. I checked with him (as usual when destinations are odd) but everything was correct. I went along with it because earnings are earnings. It ultimately ended up being a 2.5 hour trip each way. I was a little annoyed that the guy who set up the ride could bother to call and let me know exactly where the pickup was but not tell me the destination until I had the guy in the car.

Has anyone experienced something similar? How did you respond? Am I over-reacting?
