Well… I took a gamble

And took it. With a charge stop it worked out to 4 hours and change. It turned out to be a ride booked by the kids(19) mother rather than a train — of course— no tip. Overall it was a pleasant trip, with a little sight seeing stop in the Adirondacks. Would I do it again? Maybe, it was better than heading to LGA (SW CT sucks)
