I found a job that’s 2 miles from my house and I’m done driving Uber as my main income. Drove for maybe 3 months. The abuse to my vehicle driving for Uber is something I was not ready for. Brakes shot and suspension is clunking now. Only way i could afford to fix it was to break it down even more and drive more and more and more. Always need to be moving. The pay was ok before I had to figure in all my expenses I averaged about $31 an hour but we all know it’s truly much lower than that. I started doing it because I thought it would be less stressful and it brought my stress up to an 11. I understand we all need to do what we need to do to make our money and pay our bills. And I won’t ever put down a driver for driving. But I would never recommend doing this as a long term thing. Brutal 3 months. So excited to park my car and make money now lmfao.
