Hey Y'all!
I'm going to be renting a car through Uber and starting to drive in Los Angeles. The starting rate for a rent-a-car is $260/week. There is also a promotion to drive 200 rides a month and earn $2300.
I am currently completely broke and just coming out of a DV shelter with 4 kids to support... so I wont be able to cough up any amount to pay outta pocket for the rental. My question to y'all is - how practical/doable is it for me to make $260/week? How many hours or rides would it take me to make that amount?
I was an Uber driver in Florida a while back for a short time, but I'm trying to calculate/evaluate my income in LA with UberX and UberEats.
Any advice?
