Hi guys
I just started doing Uber this week after losing my job. I heard stories of people doing Uber full time making pretty decent money so I thought I’d give it a try.
I got off my part time job last night and started ubering at 10:30 pm and stopped at 2:20 am. During that time I did 12 drives and made $96 dollars. Calculating for gas and depreciation of my vehicle, it seems like I made about $15 / hr- which is minimum wage where I live (SF Bay Area) is this the norm for Uber drivers? I can’t imagine how people are making a living driving for uber. Am I doing something wrong?
Any input would be greatly appreciated
