So, I am pretty new to Uber but use it at least once a day and have had approx 50 rides so far. I didn't really know much about Uber but recently noticed that it was taking a long time until a driver accepted my booking. I checked my rating and it's at 4.4 which from googling, seems to be terrible. I am never impolite to the driver, late or anything like that. The only thing I can think of is that I often ask the driver to make a stop on the way to drop someone off without putting the stop in the app (I only just found that that's what I'm supposed to do). The stop is always on the way, not off the route. So, a few questions, 1. Is the stops what's caused the bad rating? 2. If I 'change my ways', how many rides will it take for me to get back to a decent rating? 3. Are drivers likely to rate me badly for stops if I put it in the app? 4. Will Uber charge me more for stops as stops can also mean waiting a few minutes, as opposed to what I do which is just 5 second drop off? Thanks for reading through my loooooong script! Edit: I don't tip (can't afford it, I take ubers to work for minimum wage job), is that a problem rating wise?
