Last night my coworker and I went out for our birthdays, we don’t live far from each other so she got us a shared Uber which picked me up first. The uber came up blasting music and when I walked towards the car he said to go on the driver side and it was very dark so I definitely was not expecting there to be a whole toddler staring back at me lmao. My friend sat in the front and I sat in the back with this random guys child the whole ride.
Definitely the most awkward Uber I’ve ever experienced. But I can’t help but think what father in his right mind would pick up complete strangers to be sitting next to his very small child. I get ppl need to make a living and maybe he can’t afford child care but it still feels too risky personally. I’m a completely harmless 23 F college student but what if I was someone physically dangerous. You are stuck up front watching the road not paying attention to the baby and what that person is doing back there.
