So for context my car was Tboned and totalled and insurance isn't paying enough so I'm without a vehicle while this goes to court. So a rental is my only option. 1st I tried my free rental through enterprise and Uber kept kicking it back saying the Registration was wrong because of the permanent tags and the insurance was wrong because it wasn't specifically for the rental. I even included a letter from my insurance stating that the rental had full coverage and rideshare protection.
Fast forward to now, I rented a vehicle through Hertz through the Uber rental program and same bullshit. When I call they just tell me to submit the documents. But I'm halfway through the week and haven't worked once because it's always the same. Insurance doesnt match and Registration doesn't have an expiration.
How are you guys actually running rentals?
