this is my first ride in southern california and i’ve had the weirdest most uncomfortable driver.
he picked me up, with a very loud preachy christian sermon playing, and at first i was like “ok i can just tune this out.” then he goes and calls his stepson on the speaker. he starts by talking about how he is so broke and can’t afford to pay for his gas or food for the family, then goes onto bitch about his ex-wife. his stepson suggests that he ask his riders for tips so that he can get them weed.
it’s just an aggressive back and forth conversation about being broke, hungry, and weed, goes on back and forth for literally 20 minutes. but every two minutes or so, there’s the whole “i’m so broke i have to work all day and i’m so hungry, i need tips.”
i’m just sitting in the back praying he hangs up the call and i can get out of here…
Def scam trying to play on your pity
