The first photo is of the first mask I ever made. This was a good over 10 years ago at this point. The supplies for mask making can be spendy so I started with cheap liquid latex paper towels and yarn with cheap makeup to paint with. The second picture is of my most current mask...this one was done from sculpt out of clay to mould and mask grade latex. All I can say is no matter what if you have a desire and a passion don't ever fucking stop working toward it! You will get there! You will improve and in the mean time build a portfolio of works in the process. I also have a failed mould to share....that happened about 5 years ago...this shit hasn't come easily to me and right now I'm not sure if I get to continue this passion because I am fucking allergic to latex and because of the chronic autoimmune stuff I have and a medication I'm currently clearing out of my system the latex send my immune system into a shock. I really am hoping that getting the medication out of my system will make my immunities strong enough to be able to cautiously continue these projects that mean the world to me. Fingers and toes crossed
