Alright, I’m not sure if anyone even reads posts like this, but I’m documenting my journey here on Reddit anyway. Why? Because, for once, I’m not going to hide what I’m into or hold back on putting myself out there. My search for an Asian friends-with-benefits arrangement started when I realized I needed to be honest with myself. Sure, I've dated around and had fun with people from different backgrounds, but deep down, I knew I had a specific type I was drawn to.

We live in a world where everything’s open and accessible, so why should I sit back and stay single when there’s so much to explore? I’m done with being passive. It's time to embrace this chapter, unapologetically.

I’ve been posting in my local subreddits like r4r, r4rAsian, and a few other niche communities. I might’ve gotten banned from randomactsofblowjobs because I was posting too often. Or maybe it was because I mentioned my preference for Asian women? Who knows. Either way, no apologies here. I’m all about being authentic, but I’ve learned I need to pace myself to avoid more bans. I’m just eager to find someone who clicks with me on all levels.

The search hasn’t been easy, and I know it might take a while. But I’m not about to let a few rejections or ghostings slow me down. The fact that I'm getting any responses at all feels like a win – especially when you consider the sea of bots and scammers out there. No in-person meetups yet, but I know I’m making progress.

My usual strategy is pretty simple: I get the other person to share some pictures, I send one back, and we talk. From there, it’s the usual “get to know you” stuff – hobbies, interests – and eventually, we move into more intimate territory. I like to push for an in-person meetup as soon as it feels right, but I’m not rushing anyone. People need their time, and I respect that.

Of course, I’ve run into my share of “dopamine hunters” – the ones who just want a quick thrill and nothing more. Can’t do much about that. And the dry texters... ugh, I block those right away. If the conversation’s one-sided, it’s not worth my time.

But then, there are the cool convos. The ones with cute, interesting women who get what I’m about. That’s what keeps me going. Seeing that I'm attracting people I vibe with tells me I’m on the right path.

My goal moving forward? To find someone compatible and make it happen in person. Even if it doesn’t lead to the bedroom, meeting face-to-face is progress, and that’s a win in my book.
