Hello! We are the Freedom of Form Foundation (FFF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization advocating for and carrying out research into nonhuman self-expression by means of biotechnology. The FFF was established in 2018, and we have achieved a great deal since then, including the start of our most recent research project. Itβs a gene- and cell-level target identification study for converting human skin to match that of other species, to have fur, feathers, and scales. We are excited to release our first Project Update, which blends simplified technical information with an overall outline of our approach. Our hope is to engage you, the community at large, with our work to date.
We also understand that the nature of our work is controversial, and that building trust will take time and results. There are also bound to be many natural questions about the research we conduct, and we invite you all to ask us these questions here, or to reach out to us directly either by DM (project lead: u/tiltwolf, aka u/proteomicsguru) or email ([email protected]). We will try to respond to everyone!
