If I had to make a prediction about AI, we are 18-24 months away from significant levels of use by the general population.

In African countries, I expect to see a comparable level of use in 3 years or so. With smart investments now, AI can make the world a more equitable place and reduce or even eliminate the lag time between when high-income and low-income countries get innovations. It’s something I’m thinking about for the new year.
