Does frequent masturbation make me incapable of getting someone pregnant? IT WOULDN'T. Additional information about masturbating a few times before having sex.
Post Body

"Does frequent masturbation affect my ability to get someone pregnant?"

No, it wouldn't, but it could. It doesn't affect fertility. You could still get someone pregnant during unprotected sex.

Now, my question is, what does FERTILITY actually mean?

Fertility, as defined, is related to the ability to CONCEIVE, "to conceive"-- which we're trying to AVOID that's why suggesting masturbating a few times before having sex would help lower that risk.

So, fertility is: Fertility, is defined as being able to conceive a child, within a year of UNPROTECTED sex.

Note the operative word: "UNPROTECTED"

What is sterility then?

Sterility is defined as being physically incapable of ever having a child without medical treatment.

In men, male infertility is his inability to conceive a child naturally despite having unprotected sexual intercourse for over a year.

While male sterility is the absence of sperm in semen.

Both could be caused by a multitude of factors, but NEVER (unless it's a medical anomaly) CAUSED BY REGULAR, FREQUENT MASTURBATION.

MASTURBATION DOES NOT MAKE YOU STERILE.

MASTURBATION DOES NOT MAKE YOU COMPLETELY INFERTILE.

So, let me clear the air, MASTURBATION DOES NOT MAKE YOU INFERTILE PERMANENTLY, IT IS TEMPORARY.

And given the definitions, MASTURBATION ONLY LOWERS THE SPERM COUNT TEMPORARILY BUT NEVER MAKES IT ZERO.

THERE IS STILL SPERM IN YOUR CUM, IT'S JUST THERE'S ONLY A FEW OF THEM AND IT IS LEAST LIKELY TO BE MATURE.

A LOT OF HEALTHY, MATURE SPERM WOULD HELP YOU CONCEIVE WHICH REGULAR MASTURBATION PRIOR TO SEXUAL INTERCOURSE WOULD LOWER THE RISK OF CONCEPTION, AND SHOULD BE COMPLEMENTED BY PROPER USE OF CONTRACEPTIVES TO AVOID PREGNANCIES COMPLETELY.

In Tagalog, hindi porquet salsal ka ng salsal, hindi ka na makakabuntis.

Why could regular masturbation affect my ability to get someone pregnant?

It's TEMPORARY. Just within the time after you masturbate and then the sexual intercourse. It TEMPORARILY lowers your sperm count, so it LOWERS the risk of getting someone pregnant as to the HIGHER RISK of not masturbating prior to sex.

But again, this is with PROPER USE OF CONTRACEPTIVES.

Pills, condoms, IUDs, injectables, and the like.

Again, masturbating frequently does not take away from the fact that you could be a father if you have UNPROTECTED SEX.

So, this article,

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK562258/

This discusses "male infertility" which is defined as, and I quote, "as the inability of a couple to conceive even after one year of unprotected, frequent sexual intercourse."

To reiterate, for the Nth time, I am sharing this to HELP LOWER THE RISK OF CONCEIVING TOGETHER WITH THE PROPER USE OF COMPLEMENTARY CONTRACEPTIVES.

So, regular masturbation prior to sex DETERS unintentional conception for it lowers the sperm count, and the level of sperm maturity (slower, underdeveloped sperm), lowering the risk of unwanted pregnancies, while complemented by contraceptives.

Unprotected sex is ESSENTIAL in determining your FERTILITY.

So, unless you're trying to prove you're fertile, PLEASE REFRAIN, AVOID, STOP, UNPROTECTED SEX.

Masturbating a few times prior to ejaculation in general WILL SIGNIFICANTLY LOWER THE NUMBER OF SPERM IN THE EJACULATE. Hence when being evaluated by semen analysis, and I quote, "at least 3 days of abstinence should precede the first specimen. This is recommended due to the extremely high degree of variability in semen analyses." which again is the point of my post, is to MASTURBATE before having sex to LOWER SPERM COUNT prior to having sex to AID IN LOWERING THE RISK OF UNWANTED PREGNANCIES.

Now we know that the sperm count is HIGHER when you ABSTAIN, and you need a HIGHER SPERM COUNT WHEN YOU'RE ACTUALLY TRYING TO CONCEIVE, according to Male Fertility Specialists:

https://www.malefertility.com/male-infertility/male-infertility-faqs

And I quote, a frequently asked question is:

"Does masturbation increase or decrease my sperm count in any way?"

"Masturbation will typically lead to ejaculation. Although this won't have any long term effects to your sperm quality or count, it does affect your sperm count TEMPORARILY. Every time you ejaculate you will lose sperm from your body. If you and your partner are TRYING TO CONCEIVE, regular masturbating can lower your sperm count and make it more difficult to get pregnant. It is best to avoid masturbation during the period of time you and your partner are trying to conceive a child."

Reason why you CAN FIND RESEARCHES THAT EXPLAIN THAT MASTURBATION DOES NOT AFFECT FERTILITY and RARELY do you find researches about it affecting fertility would be because of the ETHICAL AND LEGAL IMPLICATIONS of such. Most medical researches are ethically bound to help save and create life as to avoid conceiving it. Legally speaking, if such researches are abundant, it could lead to being a basis of someone being unaccountable for an unexpected pregnancy if such medical researches would be found all over the place.

Notice how most articles are to EXPLAIN INFORMATION ABOUT NOT AFFECTING AND IMPROVING FERTILITY because they are meant to HELP COUPLES CONCEIVE. Because there are ethical issues to pre-marital sex (WHICH ISN'T MEANT TO CONCEIVE OR DONE TO PROCREATE) so such researches to avoid pregnancies are distilled down to abstinence or other methods aside from having sexual intercourse. But these articles suggest to AVOID MASTURBATION PRIOR TO SEX IF YOU'RE TRYING TO CONCEIVE, and then they explain WHY.

Because again MASTURBATION PRIOR TO SEX WILL HELP LOWERING THE SPERM COUNT DURING EJACULATION IN SEXUAL INTERCOURSE.

It's the same dilemma about having abortions, it is available but articles DO NOT SUGGEST FOR IT TO BE DONE, because of ethical and legal issues. Medical professionals would never immediately suggest abortion unless all considerations and options have been exhausted.

Same idea behind the results you get when you Google search, "would taking 10 paracetamols would kill me?" It would give you results about seeking for help, the most you would get would be the dosage, forms, and action of paracetamol, its contraindications and side effects, but never the exact dosage for it to kill you. Just so you know, medical articles, researches, and literature, are bound by both ethical and moral considerations and its implications.

You may not believe in this, fine, but you can go and find multiple articles but almost all of them, if not all, would "assure men that too much masturbation won't make them infertile" because at the end of the day, humans are bound to procreate and the issue of infertility would arise.

My suggestion to masturbate a few times prior to sexual intercouse was to TEMPORARILY HELP OUT in lowering the risk of UNWANTED PREGNANCIES and I don't need to put that in fine print because my goal here is to REFUTE THE IDEA THAT ABSTINENCE PRIOR TO SEX LOWERS THE RISK OF CONCEIVING WHICH IS COMPLETELY WRONG.

You can find whatever link you can, sure. You do you. But in the medical field, if we can help people, we would.

I am bound to my beneficence.:

Beneficence is defined as an act of charity, mercy, and kindness with a strong connotation of doing good to others including moral obligation. All professionals have the foundational moral imperative of doing right. In the context of the professional-client relationship, the professional is obligated to, always and without exception, favor the well-being and interest of the client.

Sidebar: And don't give me snarky remarks about the word 'charity', it's just me doing something without anything in return.

In health care, beneficence is one of the fundamental ethics. An integral part of work as a professional is the foundational ethic of beneficence. An understanding of this ethic of care compels the individual health practitioner to consider his or her calling to the high standards of professionalism as a moral imperative; one that advocates for high standards and strives for the greater good.

I've been in the healthcare system for YEARS. And I still practice and uphold myself to those pillars because it's not just about being in practice, but more of being a decent human being.

As soon as I've read that wrong connotation about abstinence and it was discussed under a PREGNANCY SCARE, I decided to SHARE MY KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE WRONG IDEA BEHIND IT. I can just let it slide, sure, but ethically speaking, morally speaking, and as someone who had taught this to communities who suffer UNWANTED PREGNANCIES AMONGST TEENAGERS in the moderately to extremely indigent communities, I CANNOT LET PASS.

To be blunt, sabihin n'yo nang pakelamera ako or nagmamarunong but I am not forcing this on you.

This is a SUGGESTION. IT'S NOT MANDATORY. I AM NOT OBLIGING YOU.

I gave you the tip and the rationale behind it. That's it.

SO, IF YOU DO NOT BELIEVE ME, FINE. That's completely fine, that's your choice. I just posted my knowledge CONTRARY TO A MISCONCEPTION I'VE READ ON THE SAME SUB.

I don't need everyone to believe me. BUT PLEASE UNDERSTAND that EVERYONE HAS THE RIGHT TO HAVE CHOICES, AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION WHEN IT COMES TO SEXUAL HEALTH unless deemed unfit or if the law says otherwise. I'm just imparting knowledge here that you won't encounter in day to day life.

If does not cater to you, skip it. Don't waste your time on it. Move on.

I've provided additional information and laid down a choice.

If this were taught in school freely, I won't have any reason to post it here. I won't even have read that wrong connotation. This post won't be here.

IT'S YOUR CHOICE TO FOLLOW IT OR NOT. SAME AS HAVING THE CHOICE TO READ IT.
