Bigfoot Jr by the power lines (kidfoot)
Post Body

One takes a long time to tell. I'll share the short one.

I was riding our old Yamaha Moto 4 down some power line trails and saw.. ehhh... A slender stump stop moving... Even though it shouldn't have been moving. It was 3 or 4 feet from the treeline.

Kept the same speed and never looked away from it. A thin tree started swaying left and right about 30 feet into the tree line. A distraction I suppose? Didn't buy into it and kept my eyes on slender stump. Passed by it and ah I got the chills thinking about it it was a kidfoot. Looking like it was lost and desperate to get back into the woods. It had been caught out in the open... The feeling through the air was that I broke the rule even though it wasn't me. It remained frozen as a statue until I went over the next hill and couldn't see it anymore. It felt like the entire world was watching me and that stopping would have meant eminent danger.

Hauled ass home. Told my parents, they didn't believe me. Told friends. Same. Went back later, nothing. It was all pine straw so no prints. It's disheartening... When no one believes you. But we're all skeptics until convinced otherwise right?

It was about handlebar height on the ATV. 36-40 inches I suppose. It was facing away with it's chin tucked down. It's fur was very similar to the light brown trees with a reddish tint. I bet it could lay in pine straw and cloak like a copperhead. It's fur did not seem to blow in the wind, it was stiff like a dirty dog's would be. No noises, no smells, just heavy "pressure" all around. The trail I was on was about 30 feet from it. The power line cutouts are about 40 feet wide, so one truck width in from the right and it was a yard or so from the treeline on the left. I got a GOOD look at it. I ran from many broken trees afterwards for no reason.

This was within a 3 mile range of the chapel... And this was the short story 😅
